Product Information: The Biomedics® 55 Contact Lens (spherical) is indicated for daily and extended wear for the correction of refractive ametropia
(myopia, hyperopia and presbyopia) in aphakic or non-aphakic persons with non-diseased eyes who may have 1.00D or less
of astigmatism.
The lens may be prescribed for either daily wear or for extended wear from 1-7 days between removals for cleaning and
disinfection or disposal, as recommended by the eye care practitioner. Eye care practitioners may prescribe the lens either for
single-use disposable wear or frequent/planned replacement wear with cleaning, disinfection and scheduled replacement. When prescribed for frequent/planned replacement wear, the lens may be disinfected using a chemical
disinfection system only. All lenses come with a light blue handling tint. Lenses are provided to you in foil-sealed tamper-evident packages.
Biomedics® 55 corrects for the spherical aberration in the contact lens and aberrations found in the patient's eye, providing clearer, crisper, sharper vision. This is possible because Biomedics® 55 better focuses light toward a common focal point resulting in improved vision.
